RoleTrack Helps SCMIT, SCMIRF Members Update Contacts

This year, the Municipal Association of SC Risk Management Services launched a new application for SC Municipal Insurance Trust and SC Municipal Insurance and Risk Financing Fund members, allowing them to easily assign their primary and secondary contact information with RMS.

The application, RoleTrack, helps SCMIT and SCMIRF members close communication gaps and ensure that the necessary people in their cities and towns receive the information they need.

Why RoleTrack matters

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contact information allows the appropriate personnel among SCMIT and SCMIRF members to receive key information and communications from RMS, which can take many forms:

  • Monthly reports and annual reviews of the member’s coverage and loss data
  • Training announcements
  • Coverage renewals and invoices

Making updates

SCMIT and SCMIRF members can access RoleTrack on the Association’s website through the member login. On the Member Home page, the RoleTrack link appears below “Training Programs.” RoleTrack managers, main and secondary contacts can add, edit and remove contacts. All other contacts have view-only access.

RoleTrack lists any required roles that are vacant as well as basic contact information that should be updated. It also displays the municipal staff who are authorized to make updates, and includes functionality to add new employees and terminate employees who are no longer employed at the municipality.
