The Risk Management Conference and Annual Members Meeting will take place November 4 – 6 in Greenville. The theme for this year’s conference is “Leadership in Action: Building a Safer Future.”
The three-day conference will feature motivational speaker Justin Jones-Fosu of Work. Meaningful., who will empower attendees to bring their best selves to work every day. Municipal Association of SC staff will present an interactive discussion on root-cause analysis and provide a legislative update on issues impacting the insurance pools. The director of SC Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity will present on cyber threats facing local governments.
The Risk Management Services Annual Members Meeting will occur on the final day. Members will receive an update on the SC Municipal Insurance Trust and SC Municipal Insurance and Risk Financing Fund programs. The meeting will also cover the 2027 premium rate and renewal changes.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Register online by October 16.
This year will include a dinner on Wednesday evening recognizing Risk Management Award winners, Risk Management Institute graduates and board members who have completed their term. Attendees will need to register for the dinner to attend.
