Question: Can members assign or update SC Municipal Insurance Trust and SC Municipal Insurance and Risk Financing Fund roles online?
Answer: Yes, members can update SCMIT and SCMIRF roles in RoleTrack. In the past, SCMIT and SCMIRF members had to contact RMS staff to request changes to SCMIT or SCMIRF roles for their municipality. This new application provides a simple but powerful way to close communication gaps and ensure the right people always get the right information.
RoleTrack can be accessed from the member home page after logging in at www.masc.sc. It is located below the “Training Programs” tile on the home page.
The SCMIT and SCMIRF main and secondary contacts have rights to update the roles in RoleTrack. A new RoleTrack manager option is also available if someone other than the main and secondary contact should be allowed to make edits.
A procedure guide, information sheet and tutorial video can be accessed online. Members are encouraged to review before attempting to make updates in RoleTrack.
