 Currently SCCJA Class 1 certified preferred. Will accept other state lateral transfers  Hiring process can take as little as 4 weeks  Patrols an assigned area to deter crime  Answers calls for service both from the public and assist other agencies  Conducts traffic enforcement  Enforces state laws and local ordinances  Investigates reported crimes and vehicle collisions  Interview witnesses, suspects and victims  Obtains and serve arrest warrants  Transports prisoners to jail facilities  Secures crime scenes and collects evidence

 Conducts security checks on residences, businesses and schools  Assists other agencies as needed  Complete incident and accident reports, and issue citations, completes arrest and booking reports  Testify in court proceedings  Assists with security and traffic control at special events  Maintains assigned vehicle and equipment  Performs animal control and code enforcement duties as assigned  Other duties as assigned
