Job Duties

The Transit Program Manager oversees LSCOG's transit programs and contracted transit operations, including grant administration, regulatory compliance, procurement, planning, financial monitoring, service evaluation, and contractor performance.

The Lower Savannah Council of Governments, a regional planning and development agency located in Aiken, SC, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Transit Program Manager. This position offers the opportunity to help shape and strengthen public transit services across a six-county region and directly support mobility and quality of life for residents throughout the Lower Savanah Region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, planning, transportation, or a related field preferred. Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in transit, transportation, government administration, grants management, human services, program management, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly desired.

Pay Info
$62,000 - $72,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience
