Patrol Officer, Town of Due West
Officers assigned to this position perform duties that include but are not limited to responding to emergencies and high-risk situations; Patrolling areas to deter crime and ensure public safety; Apprehending and arresting individuals suspected of criminal activity; Conducting preliminary investigations and securing crime scenes; Assisting victims and gathering information related to incidents; Preparing accurate reports; Testifying in court and presenting evidence when required, citations, and legal documentation.
Maintain all qualifications necessary for Law Enforcement Certification. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Must be at least 21 years old, have no criminal record, be a high school graduate or GED, possess strong character, integrity, and a commitment to public service. Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, with weekends and holidays.
