Water/Wastewater Technician - D or C, Town of Lexington
The Town of Lexington is looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn to fill open positions that protect public health and the environment. Maintenance Technicians will assist in the operation and maintenance of the water and sewer systems. Although these positions are considered ‘essential personal’, there is an on-call rotation meant to evenly distribute overtime.
SC Distribution and Collection System Operator Certifications-Class D must be obtained within one year. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and a Class II SC Driver’s License. A Class B CDL with tanker endorsement will be required within 1 year if applying for a Technician-C.
