Wastewater Treatment Operator, City of Woodruff
Monitors and adjusts the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) as needed, makes any repairs to equipment. Performs sampling, testing, reporting, and keeps records. Works primarily outside with some inside duties.
• Performs maintenance and repairs on the collection system and pump stations. • Analyzes daily samples and makes adjustments as needed. • Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Class “D” SC Biological Wastewater certification OR the ability to obtain within one year of hire, High School Diploma or equivalent, Valid SC driver’s license.
Ability to work outside and operate heavy equipment as needed.
Experience within the sewer field is preferred but not required.
