School Resource Officer, Town of North Police Department
Responsible for the safety and welfare of all students, staff, and faculty within his/her assigned school. Enforces all federal, state, and local laws. Responds to calls for service as necessary and augments the Patrol Division as needed.
Certified Police Officer preferred, but not required. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess valid SC Drivers' License. Have a HS diploma or GED. Have no felony record Subject to physical and pre-employment screening. Be able to attend and complete the SC Criminal Justice Academy if not Class 1 certified. Attend and complete SRO certification
