Court Operations Technician, Town of Mount Pleasant
• Answers incoming calls and handles appropriately. • Processes incoming fax correspondence. • Processes Freedom of Information requests. • Prepares court dockets. • Enters Arrest Warrants. • Verification of Bond paperwork. • Assists the public, attorneys, and judges as required. • Responsible for processing continuance requests submitted to the Mount Pleasant Municipal Court website.
• Acquires all pertinent paperwork from police officers, not submitted with original charging documents. • Prepares and mails notifications to crime victims. • Prepares subpoenas to notify victims and witnesses of court appearances. • Maintains officers’ ticket inventory files. • Cross trains with other Court positions. • Performs other related assigned duties.
• Must be proficient with computers and technology; • Knowledge of office procedures and equipment; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; • Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing; • Must maintain confidentiality; • Ability to maintain, manage, and organize records; • Ability to meet and deal appropriately with Town employees, officials, and the public; • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills; • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively; • Strong problem-solving skills;
• High school diploma or GED, and three (3) years of related work experience; • Or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Valid South Carolina driver’s license. • Bilingual (Spanish) desired but not required
