Job Duties

Under general supervision, this position enforces City/County of Greenwood Codes related to public nuisance ordinances (i.e., weeds, rubbish, garbage, inoperative vehicles, etc.) • Enforces various occupancy, public nuisance, and land use regulations, such as those governing commercial stores, contractors, subcontractors, residences, and commercial establishments. • Generates code enforcement cases by entering violations into the system, including pictures. • Administers and enforces city/county ordinances covering activities such as home occupancy, use of recreational vehicles, & signage

Qualifications

High School Diploma. Must possess and maintain valid certification from the International Code Council as known as Property Maintenance Code or applicant must obtain certification within one year of employment. Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license.
