Accountant, City of North Myrtle Beach
Under limited supervision, performs various professional governmental accounting duties for the Accounting Division of the Finance Department. Work involves maintaining the accounting integrity of all funds for the City; handling the responsibility of balancing and verifying general ledger accounts as well as maintaining subsidiary schedules.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting Experience: Six (6) years of professional accounting experience Certifications: Valid driver's license Preferred: Note: The City retains the right to determine equivalencies. Any certifications not possessed at hire, must be obtained before the employee is removed from probation in order to continue employment with the City.
