Join Our Team as a seasonal Community Code Enforcement Parking Attendant The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking highly motivated, friendly, and approachable individual to join our team as Community Code Enforcement Parking Attendant. The Community Code Enforcement Parking Attendant will serve as a public-facing representative for the Town of Hilton Head Island, enhancing regulatory compliance, supporting public safety, and improving the overall visitor experience at beach parks.
What You Will Do - Patrol Town beach parking lots to identify and address illegal parking - Issue citations for violations of the Town's beach parking ordinance - Communicate with beach parking vendor staff to identify and address illegal parking - Document and issue citations for violation of the Town's beach parking ordinance - Engage and educate public of various beach prohibitions: alcohol, disrupting dunes, etc. - Maintain effective working relationships with Town employees, community members, elected officials and appropriate others in support of assigned duties
- High school diploma or equivalent required - Valid Driver's License
Work Schedule - Seasonal assignment starts on March 1, 2026 and concludes the end of Labor Day weekend (beginning of September) - Requires 8 hour shifts Thursday - Sunday, including holidays, to accommodate peak beach usage times - Additional Saturday and Sunday hours may be available during peak tourist seasons or for special events
