Session information

  • Advanced MEO members may choose one session to attend.
  • All sessions start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Attendees must attend the full day to receive credit for attending the session. 
  • NOTE: Advanced Advocacy and Intergovernmental Relations Session:
  • All attendees registering for the Advanced Advocacy and Intergovernmental Relations session should please be advised of these two points for the session and tour of the State House: 
  • A bus to transport attendees to the State House will leave the Convention Center promptly at 9:10 a.m. The morning portion of the session will consist of a tour of the State House chambers; some walking will be required. The bus transportation will leave on time. All attendees must sign the sign-in book before leaving. 
  • All concealed guns, knives and any other object that can be considered a weapon must be left in your car. These weapons are not allowed in the State House building, and you will not be allowed to enter. 
 

Parking information

  • Participants will be responsible for all parking fees associated with attending the meeting. The Convention Center is within walking distance of the host hotel, the Hilton Columbia Center. Participants staying at the host hotel will park at the host hotel, with associated parking fees. The Convention Center has limited free parking spaces adjacent to the venue on a first-come basis. There is additional parking in the parking garage directly across from the Convention Center at $16/day (prices subject to change).
