04.24.2025 The House Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs Environmental Affairs subcommittee gave this bill a favorable report as amended. The amendment requires local governments to provide that their systems are at capacity to the property owner in writing with 30 days of the request. The amendment would also allow property owners to repair wells or septic tanks if the owner can show that doing so more economical than hooking up to the public system.
