- The PPC website features a rotating spotlight for Associate Members.
Exclusive access
- Associate Members are the only people not associated with Utility Members allowed to attend events held by PPC.
Networking Events
There are currently three annual events that are great opportunities to network and build relationships with Utility Members.
- Annual Meeting held in June at either Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach and attended by directors, managers, supervisors and council or board members. We also encourage everyone including Associate Member’s to bring their families to this event. An added benefit to the Annual Meeting is the opportunity to attend an afternoon activity such as golf or an evening dinner with a member of a utility.
- Associate Member Lunch typically held in March in Columbia, SC attended by both linemen and supervisors.
- Lineworkers Rodeo held in SC and attended by lineworkers, supervisors and managers.
Exhibit
- Registration for exhibit booths is available for any of the PPC events so you can display your goods and services. An exhibit booth typically includes a table with two chairs.
Event Speaker
- Each year Associate Members are polled for topics and speaker suggestions ahead of the annual conference. Those selected by the PPC Board then get to make a presentation at the annual conference.
Industry Expert
- Collaborate with PPC to host a virtual or in person training session where you can show off you expertise while educating Utility Members on products or services.
