Public Works Maintenance Operator, Town of Kingstree
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, locating, inspecting, meter reading, maintaining, and repairing water and sewer lines to ensure quality service to customers. Perform recurring and non-routine tasks for all types of maintenance, repair and installations on the Town of Kingstree streets, sidewalks, and parks. The person hired for the position will also be responsible for performing work in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining excellent quality.
A high school diploma or GED and a valid South Carolina Driver’s License are required. . A minimum of a “D” Water Distribution License is preferred for this position. If the chosen applicant does not have the “D” Water Distribution License, the chosen applicant must attain the certification within the first year of employment to retain his/her employment.
