Public Works Director, Town of Fort Lawn
The Town of Fort Lawn is seeking a full-time Public Works Director to oversee operations of the wastewater collection system in a very small-town setting. This position is responsible for maintaining town infrastructure and ensuring compliance with South Carolina regulatory requirements.
Perform and oversee maintenance of wastewater collection system. Maintain town-owned buildings. Perform season duties. Must be self-motivated and available to report in emergency situations. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid South Carolina Driver's License required. Level A wastewater collection license preferred, must obtain license in a specific timeframe. Must maintain all required certifications and continue education as required by the State of South Carolina.
