Job Duties

• Provide Law Enforcement duties within the Town limits of Ridgeland, South Carolina • Neighborhood patrolling, other related tasks • Respond to calls for service • Enforce all SC traffic laws • Work traffic collisions

Qualifications

• SCCJA certification highly desired; ability to attend and graduate from SC Criminal Justice Academy if uncertified or SCCJA approved “special basic” for L.E. transfers • Be a U.S. citizen least 21 years of age • Valid SC driver’s license with 5 year driving record • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent • Pass background/credit check

 

 

Pay Info
Starting at $53,869 annually DOQ, paid insurance premiums for State Health Plan, SC Police Officer Retirement, paid holidays, Weekly Pay, Paid Training.
