Police Officer, City of Chesnee
The City of Chesnee is currently seeking to fill a police officer position. To perform protective service work in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances in the city limits. Exercises independent judgement and held accountable for law enforcement matters relating to assigned responsibilities and performs under emergency conditions.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and must complete the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy (SCCJA)
Possession of a valid SC Driver's License and must maintain required levels of proficiency in the use of firearms; maintain physical fitness in accordance with SCCJA standards; and meet and maintain all department and state education requirements for this position.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with associates and the general public.
