Performance and Compliance Manager, Lowcountry Council of Governments
Program Performance & Analysis: Lead programmatic and operational research, analyze administrative and statistical data, identify trends, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, service delivery, and resource utilization while supporting leadership with data-driven decision making.
Financial Monitoring & Compliance: Conduct financial reviews, monitor billing activities and invoices, ensure costs are allowable and properly documented, identify discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and oversee compliance with local, state, and federal workforce regulations.
Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement: Support strategic planning and program development, monitor legislative and regulatory updates, represent the department in committees and partner meetings, collaborate with local and state agencies, and maintain current knowledge of workforce best practices while managing documentation and reporting requirements.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
Five (5) years of experience in financial monitoring and program compliance, including lead or supervisory experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Professional Competencies: Demonstrated ability to perform essential job functions and effectively learn, apply, and follow organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
