The City of Camden is seeking a qualified and motivated Part-Time City Prosecutor to serve as the legal liaison for the Camden Police Department and to manage the prosecution of criminal and misdemeanor cases within the City’s jurisdiction.

The City Prosecutor is responsible for overseeing prosecutorial operations and ensuring that all cases are handled fairly, efficiently, and in accordance with the law. This role plays a critical part in upholding the interests of justice while protecting the constitutional rights of the accused.

• Prosecute criminal and misdemeanor offenses within the City of Camden’s jurisdiction • Serve as the primary legal liaison for the Camden Police Department • Review police reports, charging documents, and evidence for legal sufficiency • Appear in municipal court to represent the City in criminal proceedings • Ensure prosecutorial practices comply with state and federal law • Exercise sound legal judgment with fairness, professionalism, and integrity
