Municipal Grounds and Litter Technician, Town of Reidville
The Municipal Grounds and Litter Technician keeps the Town of Reidville clean, safe, and welcoming by collecting roadside litter and maintaining sidewalks, public areas and Town property. Duties include using hand tools and protective equipment, removing debris, disposing of waste properly, reporting hazards or maintenance needs, and assisting the public courteously. The position requires walking, bending, lifting, outdoor work in varying weather, and compliance with safety procedures.
High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be dependable, able to follow instructions and safety procedures, communicate courteously with the public, and work independently. Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds while working outdoors in varying weather. A valid South Carolina driver’s license may be required. Prior litter removal, public works, or maintenance experience is preferred.
