Job Duties
Under general supervision, controls and extinguishes fires, protects life and property and maintains all fire equipment. Completes records and reports as required. Assists in educating the public regarding fire prevention and safety. Performs facilities and grounds maintenance duties. Reports to a Company Officer and/or Shift Commander.
Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent with a willingness and ability to train in firefighting/rescue methods and procedures with an expectation of having or acquiring Firefighter 2 and Hazmat Tech certification(s) from a Fire School/Academy in 1st year of employment.
