Auditor, Town of Wagener
Annual financial audit of all Town funds • Preparation of audited financial statements • Compliance testing with state and federal requirements • Review of internal controls and accounting procedures • Presentation of audit findings to Mayor and Town Council
Minimum Requirements: • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in South Carolina • Governmental auditing experience (GASB, GAAS, Yellow Book preferred) • Familiarity with municipal accounting, state reporting, and SC Treasurer’s Office requirements • Ability to begin promptly and meet statutory deadlines
