Sara Whitaker rejoined the Association in 2026 as a staff associate for affiliate services after serving as the assistant vice president for alumni engagement at Columbia College. She previously worked for ten years at the Association within the education and training department. She will provide support to the Small Cities Summit, Association of South Carolina Mayors, Municipal Attorneys Association and many other events and trainings. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Columbia College.
