Wastewater Treatment Operator D, City of Manning

Full-Time, 8:00am – 5:00pm; may include weekends and holidays as well as On-Call work
Job Duties

•Inspects and performs preventative maintenance on water and wastewater plant equipment, ensuring proper working condition

•Prepares and processes equipment records, flow records and reports, maintenance records, special program

•Collects and analyzes water and wastewater samples; records results and reports any irregularities reports, DHEC reports, etc

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with vocational or technical training in wastewater treatment or a related field is required; supplemented by two (2) years of experience in operating a physical/chemical wastewater facility or an equivalent facility; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Must possess and maintain a South Carolina Class "D" Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment Operator license. Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license.
