Job Duties

Plans, directs and supervises the efficient operation and maintenance of the City’s wastewater treatment facility.

Supervises the work of subordinate staff; supervisory duties include scheduling; instructing; assigning, reviewing and planning work of others; maintaining standards; coordinating activities; allocating personnel; selecting new employees; acting on employee problems; and recommending employee discipline and discharge.

Inspects equipment and processes to determine efficiency of operations, maintenance requirements, and cleanliness.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in an engineering, natural sciences, or closely related field.

Eight years of relevant prior experience.

Level "A" Biological Wastewater License.
