Job Duties

Leads, guides, instructs, mentors and performs the maintenance of the wastewater collection system.

Operates heavy equipment including backhoes, skid-steer loaders, trenchers, CCTV cameras, mechanical cleaning equipment, high pressure cleaning equipment, etc.

Supervises other staff and trains coworkers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Four years of relevant prior experience.

Must obtain DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) medical examiner’s certificate within fourteen days from date of hire. Must possess a South Carolina Class “A” CDL license with Tanker Endorsement and no Code O (tractor trailer) restriction. Required to demonstrate competency and complete the minimum requirements for Foremen as defined in the Wastewater Collection System Operator Training Program.

Must possess or obtain Asbestos certification, A Frame certification, and Trench and Shoring certification within one year from date of hire; and must possess a Level A Wastewater Collections System Operator Certification.

Pay Info
$53,449.00 annually
