Job Duties

Provide strategic leadership and direction to town staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Develop and implement policies, programs, and initiatives to promote economic development, community engagement, and sustainable growth. Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Act as the primary liaison between the Town Council, town staff, and the community, facilitating communication and collaboration. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development for town staff.

Collaborate with local businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders to address the needs and concerns of the community. Represent the town in various regional and state organizations and meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in local government management or a related field, with a proven track record of success in leadership and administration.

Strong understanding of local government operations, including budgeting, finance, human resources, and public policy. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including elected officials, community members, and staff.

Valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the town and region as needed. Must seek residency within 12 months of acceptance of position within the Town of Clover municipal limits.

Pay Info
Salary range $90,000 - $115,000. The Town of Clover offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including PEBA health insurance and retirement, paid vacation and sick leave, 401k match, and professional development opportunities.
