Position Hours
12 hour shifts, will have two-two day breaks and one three day break during a two week pay cycle, this amounts to working seven days out of fourteen
Job Duties
Enforce SC code of laws, Town of Eutawville Ordinances, investigate crime, patrol, answer calls for service, public relations, investigate traffic collisions. Maintain training with SCCJA, Eutawville Police Dept.
Opportunity to get more training than larger departments. Set goals and work expectations to achieve goals. Take Home Patrol Car, full benefits medical, dental and retirement
Must be physically able to perform the job and pass physical fitness test that requires running, walking. jumping and some climbing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED , or other State Certificate Accepted by SCCJA
- Must be of good moral character, honest, trust worthy, loyal, dependable. Must be able to pass criminal justice background check, psychological and a medical test.
- Depending on schedule will have to work holidays, nights and day shift. Hours may be flexible to allow for personal schedule conflicts
Pay Info
$35,000.00 to $45,000.00 depending on certified or uncertified
