Police Officer, Town of Wagener
Performs patrol duties in assigned areas of the Town, responds to calls for service, generates calls for service. Enforces federal and state laws and town ordinances; performs traffic enforcement; conducts property checks and participates in community-oriented policing activities. Investigates crimes and traffic collisions.
Deter crimes and assure community safety through high-visibility policing. Patrol assigned areas and monitor activities to protect people/property. Investigate. crimes and apprehend suspected law violators. Observes and responds to various situations or emergencies Follow rules, guidelines and protocols.
Patrols town limits. Responds to calls for service relayed by dispatch. Prepares detailed written incident and investigation reports. Testifies in court cases when necessary.
High School Graduate or GED 21 years of age or older No Criminal History. Able to get South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy Certificate if not Certified Officer in the State of South Carolina Valid SC Driver's License. Able to pass a medical physical. US Citizen or authorized to work in the US, psychological test, and pre-employment drug screen. Pass Pre-Employment Interview.

Wagener, South Carolina 29164, or may be dropped off in person by the posted deadline. Certified ten-year driving record (You must provide a copy of your driving record from every state you have been licensed to drive within the past ten years.)
