Job Duties

Maintain working relationships with local church leaders and business owners/employees to build trust and familiarity. Patrol areas within city limits to deter crime while enforcing town ordinances and state laws.

Investigate crimes against persons and property and traffic accidents. Preserve, collect, and process evidence and secure active crime scenes. Serves warrants, subpoenas and other writs. Effectuate arrests and detentions.

Provide home and business property checks, security checks in the event of an alarm, and personal/business escorts. Provide information and assistance to the public. Prepare and present cases in court. And other duties.

Qualifications

Candidate must be 21 years of age or older, a South Carolina resident with a valid SC driver's license, and have a High School Diploma or GED.

Must not have a criminal record, with the exception of minor traffic violations.

Once an offer is made applicants must pass an aptitude test, psychological screening, and drug screening.

Pay Info
Pay will determine based on certifications and experience.
