Job Duties
Be calm under pressure, quick thinking, trainable and you enjoy working with the public.
Enforce the laws of the City of Spartanburg, the State of South Carolina, and federal laws.
Investigate crimes to include, but not limited to: issuing traffic citations, obtaining arrest warrants, obtaining search warrants, attending court, and performing related law enforcement work as required.
Qualifications
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, 21 years of age at the time of application, High School Diploma or GED.
Pay Info
$42,972.80+ for Non-Certified & $45,094.40+ for Certified Officers. The City of Spartanburg provides a robust benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, short-term disability and life insurance.
