8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some work on weekends
Job Duties

Responsible for social media postings for the Town and Doko Meadows Park. Creates and manages Town’s biweekly newsletter. Creates Town documents for Town Council and programs for Town events. Organizes, coordinates and implements small Town events and celebrations.

Searches and reviews grant opportunities to determine feasibility of developing programs to supplement local annual fund allocations. Discusses grant program requirements and sources of funds available with the Town Administrator. Under the supervision of the Town Administrator, administers grant applications from initial submittal to final receipt.

Manages the entire application, award and reporting process for hospitality and accommodations tax grant funding, including staffing the State Accommodations Tax Committee.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in municipal government project management or grant writing, or any equivalent combination of training, education, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Extensive knowledge of local government grant writing and administration.

Skilled in the operation of personal computers and software, to include Microsoft Office, design software and social media platforms.
