Job Duties

The Town of Turbeville is seeking a full-time employee to join the public works department in maintaining all town properties and facilities. Ability to maintain and operate heavy-duty equipment is considered a plus.

Individual would report to public works director and be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, routine maintenance of town wells and water tanks, street and sidewalk maintenance, maintaining of public properties including landscaping and mowing.

Individual must be able to perform moderate to strenuous physical activity outdoors and be on call as needed.

Qualifications

Candidate must have a current South Carolina drivers' license with proof of a safe driving record.

Candidate must have a high school diploma of SC GED and the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

 

Pay Info
Pay Range dependent on qualifications and experience. The Town of Turbeville offers SC State Retirement plus SC State Health Insurance to full-time employees.
