Job Duties

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a senior administrative and management position primarily responsible for directing and managing the operations of Doko Manor, Doko Meadows Park, and overseeing the Town’s event schedule in close coordination with the Town Events and Marketing Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Town Administrator and under the general management of the Mayor, the Director operates independently, ensuring the efficient functioning and profitability of the designated facilities and events.

1. Oversee all sales, operational, and maintenance aspects of Doko Manor. Forecast and administer the department budget, monitoring revenue and expenditures. Collaborate with staff to generate revenue through bookings, ensuring profitability and controlling expenses. Analyze pricing and sales trends, while monitoring competition from other venues. 2. Plan and implement marketing and sales campaigns, managing print, media, social media, and digital advertising. Maintain Doko Manor's website, Wedding Wire, Facebook, Instagram, and other platform.

3. Respond to all requests for Park and Amphitheater rentals, schedule events, write contracts, and process payments. Input rentals and coordinate event staff schedules. 4. Coordinate the scheduling of Doko Manor events with Park/Amphitheater events to ensure smooth operations and prevent conflicts. 5. Ensure the Park and Amphitheater are well-maintained, arranging repairs as needed, and conducting safety inspections with Town maintenance staff. 6. Serve as the logistical and operational liaison to external organizations planning events in the Park and Amphitheater.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in business administration, parks and recreation management, hospitality management, or a related field. Minimum of five years of experience in business and facilities management, event planning, program development, supervision, budgeting, accounting, sales, marketing, and customer relations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

 

Pay Info
$61,000 - $91,000 annually
