Customer Service Representative - Public Services, Town of Mount Pleasant
The Customer Service Representative performs a variety of administrative, clerical and customer service duties in support of the Public Services Department. Provides answers to daily customer service inquiries by phone and in person. Provides general information to Town employees; posts related information as required. Processes Service Requests and Work Orders; dispatches service calls to the appropriate division; refers requests to appropriate staff for timely response and resolution.
Performs a wide range of clerical duties including, typing, filing, sorting, e-mailing, scanning and faxing of materials Prepares and process letters and reports as required. Provides assistance to supervisors with special projects Receives and routes in-coming mail and logging and filing relevant material. Collects fees/monies and keeps records of them. Compiles information for the reporting of statistical information.
Takes dictation for correspondence, memoranda, reports and other materials. Attends meetings and prepares minutes for department as needed. Performs document management services for the department to include scanning, filing and shredding. Performs basic auditing of department programs and records. Assists with the completion of purchase requisitions as needed. Performs other duties as required.
High School Diploma.
One year experience in an office setting. Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid South Carolina Driver's License.
