Regular Booths $900
A limited number of 8’x10’ exhibit spaces will be set up in a section of the ballroom. These exhibits will be open during the regular exhibit hall hours (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.) on Friday.
Premium Booths $1,100
A limited number of premium booths are available in the hallway outside of the meeting space. These booths will be open on Thursday during the Welcome Reception and on Friday during the regular exhibit hall. This is a great opportunity to have increased exposure with our members. These spaces will be first available and complimentary to our Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors.
If you have not become a sponsor, now is the time. Various levels give opportunities to have your company in front of the group at various events. Some levels also include an opportunity to address the crowd, free exhibit space and hotel rooms in the host hotel. If desired, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsors will receive the premium exhibit space at no charge. They must indicate which space they prefer.
Booth space will be granted to the first 42 companies who submit a request and payment through an online form and are accepted by the Association. Once you have completed the online form, an invoice will be sent to you for payment online using a Visa or MasterCard. By completing the form and paying the invoice, you are registering your company and not an individual. Individuals who attend the meeting will need to be registered online after your company has been assigned a booth by the Association. The deadline to request a booth and pay the invoice is May 27.
The online form you complete will ask for information we need to include your company in the meeting’s mobile app. Please be prepared with the following:
- Company website URL (example: https://www.att.com/ )
- Company name
- Email of a contact person
- Phone number of a contact person (example: 803.933.1208)
- Company logo (.jpg or .png)
On June 10, online registration will open to the public. Hotel rooms will be limited and the deadline to make a hotel reservation is June 13. Beginning June 10, you must register the booth personnel for the meeting. Two meeting registrations are included in the fee. You will register these two people online at the $0 registration fee. When you register them, you will be allowed to purchase tickets to events/meals and reserve a hotel room (if any rooms are available at this time). If you do not register the booth representative through the online process, the Association will not be prepared for them when they arrive at the meeting.
Registering additional attendees from your company
Attendee registrations above two people from the same company must pay the full registration at the rate of $200 per person.
Unauthorized Solicitation and Distribution of Materials: Solicitation of business on the premises of the trade expo by anyone other than official Municipal Association of SC conference exhibitors is strictly prohibited. Solicitation of business in sessions and meetings is entirely prohibited.
Distribution of flyers, pamphlets, notices and brochures in any session of the Municipal Association of SC conference, without the prior written consent of the Municipal Association of SC, is expressly prohibited.
Exhibitor Contract for Space
This reservation for exhibit space is subject to acceptance by the Municipal Association of South Carolina (hereafter referred to as the Association), and upon such acceptance will constitute a contract to use the space assigned. Space is limited and are sold on first come, first served basis.
Cost to Exhibit
$900: Regular space located in ballroom
$1,100: Hallway location (includes exhibit time during reception on Thursday. Space is limited. These spaces are first come, first served. Certain sponsor levels receive first priority.
Complimentary: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsors who return this contract by the deadline receive a complimentary exhibit booth.
The fee includes two registrations but does not include the ticketed luncheon or reception on Saturday. Tickets may be purchased online beginning June 11. The availability of tickets for ticketed events is limited.
Exhibits may be installed between the hours of 2 – 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 14 and 7 – 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 15. All exhibits must be removed by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 15. A company representative must be present when freight is delivered. The Association will not accept or sign for any deliveries.
The Exhibit Showcase opens on Friday, July 15, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
In addition to the
exhibit showcase hours on Friday, exhibit spaces in the hallway will open during the reception on Thursday. The reception is 5:30 – 7 p.m.
The Association reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit or part of an exhibit or restrict any activity or conduct within the exhibition area(s) which in its opinion is not suitable. No exhibitor will be allowed to play music in the exhibit area. No food may be prepared in the exhibit booth (including popcorn).
No exhibitor shall assign, sublet, or apportion the whole or any part of the space purchased, or permit any other party to exhibit therein without written permission from the Association.
The Association and/or the Hotel will not be responsible for the safety of exhibits from theft, damage by fire or other causes. The exhibitor hereby acknowledges that the Association and/or Hotel shall have no liability hereunder and the exhibitor shall indemnify, save and hold harmless the Association, its officers, directors, agents employees and members from and against any and all loss, liabilities, judgments and damages, and all costs, fees and expenses related thereto, arising directly or indirectly out of or in any way connected with this contract for space.
The Association will furnish each exhibitor with an 8-foot x 10-foot pipe-and-drape space with a 6-foot table, two chairs and a tablecloth. Electricity will be provided at each booth.
Exhibitors may give door prizes; however, the Association will not be responsible for door prize drawings or delivery of door prizes.
Charleston Place Hotel

The Association negotiates room blocks at several hotels for the use of municipal officials during the event. The room block at the host hotel is for the exclusive use of municipal members or platinum and gold sponsors. After the municipalities have registered for the meeting, any rooms remaining in the room blocks are made available to all other attendees. The Association does not guarantee rooms will be available in the Association room blocks. It is recommended that exhibitors reserve hotel rooms independently.
