Delegates at the Municipal Association of South Carolina's Annual Meeting elected officers and board members to the Association's board of directors. Mayor Dennis Raines of the City of Mauldin was elected president. All officers were elected to a one-year term.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to serve all cities and towns in South Carolina," said Raines. "Cities and towns are the backbone of our state. We are the centers of progress and I look forward to bolstering that progress during this year."
