Wastewater Treatment Manager, City of Lake City

Full time, 7:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. some holiday(s) or weekend(s) may be required
Personnel administrative and general work scheduling at plant. Operation decision and supervision of plant to comply with NPDES permit.
Inventory and Ordering. Performs general clerical duties such as maintaining and filing analytical data. Budgeting and controlling expenditures. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Assist with water treatment operation as needed. Lab work as needed including the collecting of sample(s) and testing.
Apply principles of logic to define problems, collect and analyze data. Interpret a wide variety of technical instruction in book, manual, mathematical or diagrammatic form.
Performs semi-skilled work in the operation of wastewater treatment plant, equipment, and facilities. Directs the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment and lift system, if the Public Works
Director is not available.
High School Diploma
or GED; 2 + years of experience.
Able to lift 50 lbs.;
daily climbing of stairways by tanks; knowledge of budget and operations.
“A” level in Biological; “D” level in Water; valid SC drivers license.
Negotiable depending on skill, education and work experience
