Town Clerk, Town of Eastover
Position Category: Administration
Full time, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some work during evenings
Appointed by Town Council and supervised by the Mayor, the town clerk provides administrative support to the mayor and town council;
Administers the town’s zoning ordinance and is responsible for issuing business licenses;
Assists with special events held or supported by the town.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and three to five years of professional administrative experience.
A valid S.C. Driver’s License is required.
An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree and/or previous municipal government experience is preferred.
Compensation is negotiable based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
