Position hours: Full-time position, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some overtime on nights, weekends and holidays may be required as necessary.
Job duties: Coordinate and supervise the operation and maintenance of the wastewater collection system and related activities; assist in planning, design and coordinating the construction of new equipment and facilities; perform other technical, administrative and supervisory work; works within broad policy and organizational guidelines and does independent planning and implementation; reports progress of major activities through periodic conferences and meetings; and works under limited supervision and guidance of the Operations Director
- Requires high school diploma, GED or specialized vocational training and over four years and up to and including eight years of relevant experience
- Must have and maintain a valid SC Class "A" (with Z restrictions) or "B" CDL driver's license; tanker endorsement is required for either license; must possess and maintain a Class "A" WEASC VCC Collection System certification; must possess and maintain NASSCO PACP and MACP certifications
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or during inclement weather events due to business necessity. Serves on call 24 hours a day as scheduled and responds to emergency situations as necessary.
Pay info: $24.70 – $25.93/hour depending on experience plus paid insurance and other benefits
