Museum Assistant Manager, City of Hartsville

Position Category: Misc.

Position hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and special events

Job duties: Performs a variety of routine and complex administrative duties in developing and marketing museum programs and services in the community and assisting in the implementation of the standard operating policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in marketing, communication, museum studies, art history or related field preferred with training in general office practices or closely related field; and
  • Three years of experience in supervision, fund raising, grant writing, public relations and community involvement; and/or
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities

Pay info: Minimum of $30,000 annually
