- Performs intermediate skilled technical work; investigates reports of illegal disposal sites; patrols sites to control illegal disposal; enforces solid waste and environmental ordinances; prepares and maintains records and reports; and performs related work as apparent or assigned
- Performs work under the limited supervision of the solid waste superintendent
- Associate degree in business administration, accounting, construction management or related field; three years of experience involving code enforcement; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job
- Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license
