Business and Marketing Coordinator, Town of Mount Pleasant

Position Category: Administration

Position hours: Full-time position, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

Job duties:

  • Establishes and directs all town-wide tourism marketing, programs and projects and upholds the standards of the Mount Pleasant brand
  • Supports the business development office and is responsible for coordinating marketing efforts and initiatives to advance the quality of life for residents by fostering an economic environment that is vibrant, favorable to job creation, and that promotes the general prosperity of the community while enhancing the visitor experience
  • Provides a variety of complex administrative tasks to support the office, including the management of rental facilities


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, graphic art, multi-media or public relations, business administration or related field with three years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay info: $21.76/hr with excellent benefits, total compensation is $29.38/hr
