Position hours: Full-time position, standard business hours and some nights and weekends based on needs/events
Job duties: Performs a variety of tasks for the development, coordinating and promoting of sports and group events/activities for the city's parks and recreation department, while increasing the competitive ability of the city to lodge and host sporting and other large group events
Qualifications: Associate degree in public administration, business administration/economics, tourism and hospitality, or a closely related field; three years of responsible tourism, marketing or events planning experience in a related area; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Pay info: $38,000 annually with excellent benefits
