Business Services Manager, Town of Fort Mill

Position Category: Administration

Position Hours:
Full time, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some work on weekends

Job Duties:
  • Supervises staff in the area of customer service, resolving customer problems, and troubleshooting non-routine issues. Prepares a variety of reports, including bad checks, new deposits, daily cash, and others. Prepares and processes electronic bill payments and online credit card payments. Processes data from utility meters; makes corrections as needed; posts billing changes.
  • Ensures that billing software and meter software are properly synchronized through the generation of multiple reports, the use of work orders, and swap-file software.
  • Accepts and logs new construction meter requests; generate new accounts, work orders, change-outs, and verifications of completion.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
  • Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.

Pay Info:
$53,531.26 - $60,222.67 annually dependent upon qualifications.
