City Clerk & Executive Administrative Assistant, City of Fountain Inn

Position Hours:
Full time, Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to Noon

Job Duties:
  • Manages City Council Meetings and associated activities; City official records, FOIA requests; publication and maintenance of ordinances. Coordinates elections.
  • SCMIRF representative for the City.
  • Administrative functions for the City Administrator and City Hall centric activites.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; supplemented by three years of experience in high level administrative support, election supervision, or records management in municipal setting; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver’s license. Must have the ability to obtain, possess and maintain the following additional certifications or licensures: Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC).

Pay Info:
$45,237 - $56,547 annually
