Senior Customer Service Representative, City of Columbia

Position Category: Planning, GIS

Position Hours:
Full time, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Duties:
  • Assists customers in applying for permits; explains permitting procedures, and reviews submitted information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinates code review of residential projects and issues related building permits.
  • Answers the telephone; provides accurate information to callers and/or forwards calls to appropriate personnel; takes messages as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years of relevant prior experience.
  • May be required to type 30 corrected wpm.

Pay Info:
$31,643 annually
